Dulany has been a member of NACE for more than twenty years, chaired numerous committees, held the position of Director of Community Service for a number of years, and received NACE's national-level "George Zell Award." As chairman of fundraising for the Baltimore Chapter, Dulany developed the concept for Uncorked! – an auction, wine, dinner, and event designer competition. Event proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels, the Foundation of NACE, and the Baltimore Chapter of the NACE Education Fund. The benchmark “Noble Award” is named for Dulany in further recognition of the mark she has made on the industry during her tenure, including her consistent sponsorship for Uncorked! and other Baltimore NACE events, her continual willingness to offer services and goods, her expertise and advice offered to benefit the chapter, her track record of building strong vendor relationships within the NACE network, and the impact of her commitment, compassion, and humanitarian spirit. NACE's mission is to provide catering and event professionals superior education, networking, and resources. It is the oldest and largest professional association that addresses all aspects of the catering industry. |

Gala Cloths Rocks Three Tablescapes at Uncorked! 2012, Inspired by this Year’s Theme, “Bucket List: Live Your Life to the Fullest.” For Uncorked! 2012 on March 19 -- the National Association of Catering Executives Baltimore Chapter's annual fundraising 4-course wine dinner and tablescape competition showcasing the talents of caterers and event professionals -- Gala Cloths expressed creativity and Bucket List dreams with three inventive tabletop designs.

For their Baltimore-themed Bucket List tablescape, “Gala Gals” Meghan and Sarah rocked one of Gala Cloths’ newest Taffetas – “Black & White Myth” – and Black Bengaline Napkins.
For her “Island Hoppin’” tablescape, Gala Design & Rental Consultant for Maryland, Teri Mullican, chose “Tiffany Blue Organza” over “Champagne Velour” and Bengaline Napkins in assorted colors, and carried through a flowing chair back treatment in streaming organza. Teri collaborated with Alison Webb, AIFD at Rutland Beard Florist.

Gala Cloths captures the "Most Artistic" table design award at the 2011 20th Annual Great Chefs' Dinner to benefit The Family TreeAt the annual Great Chefs' Dinner on April 4, 2011, to benefit The Family Tree, Gala Cloths' table design took the "Most Artistic" category award of the event. The design was inspired by Martha Stewart’s Gardening Month-by-Month, published in 1991. The 2010 Great Chefs’ Dinner “Most Artistic” award also went to Gala Cloths. Guest Chef James Beard Award-winning Chef Jeff Michaud of Osteria in Philadelphia, presided over the event, which raised more than $700,000 for The Family Tree. Dulany Noble, owner of Gala Cloths, mobilized these hospitality industry colleagues and a specialty contractor to pull together her tabletop design:
The Family Tree is Maryland's leading nonprofit dedicated to improving the community by providing families with proven solutions to prevent child abuse and neglect. The Family Tree's service model focuses on working with the whole family. Among 37 Maryland designers presenting 39 themed dining tables for the 19th annual Great Chefs' Dinner on April 26, 2010, to benefit The Family Tree, Gala Cloths' table design took the "Most Artistic" category award of the event. Gala Cloths' design was inspired by the New York Botanical Gardens, interpreting this year's event theme, "A New York State of Mind." Alexandra Guarnaschelli, Executive Chef of Butter Restaurant in New York and Food Network personality, presided over the event, which raised more than $580,000 for The Family Tree. Dulany Noble, owner of Gala Cloths, mobilized fellow hospitality industry professionals to pull together her tabletop design, all members of the Baltimore Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE): Loren Lippman, Party Rentals, Ltd., who supplied chargers and chairs. Ellene Pomerantz, Write Style Design Studio, who created scrolled menu cards, place cards, and tags for the miniature potted orchid favor at each guest place setting. Stanton Wingrat, Flowers & Fancies, who contributed displays of exotic blooms including orchids for the centerpiece and place setting favors.
