Gala Cloths is "trending" with wedding linens fit for royalty!Watch the video! Influenced by the excitement building for the upcoming Royal Wedding, NBC TV-10 Philadelphia featured a wedding decor and design segment on April 11, 2011, presented by Mark Kingsdorf from Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants. Only linens from Gala Cloths were shown, which also reflected color and fabric trends for the 2011 Bridal Season stateside for bridal teas, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Gala Cloths captures the "Most Artistic" table design award at the 2011 20th Annual Great Chefs' Dinner to benefit The Family TreeAt the annual Great Chefs' Dinner on April 4, 2011, to benefit The Family Tree, Gala Cloths' table design took the "Most Artistic" category award of the event. The design was inspired by Martha Stewart’s Gardening Month-by-Month, published in 1991. The 2010 Great Chefs’ Dinner “Most Artistic” award also went to Gala Cloths. Guest Chef James Beard Award-winning Chef Jeff Michaud of Osteria in Philadelphia, presided over the event, which raised more than $700,000 for The Family Tree. Dulany Noble, owner of Gala Cloths, mobilized these hospitality industry colleagues and a specialty contractor to pull together her tabletop design:
The Family Tree is Maryland's leading nonprofit dedicated to improving the community by providing families with proven solutions to prevent child abuse and neglect. The Family Tree's service model focuses on working with the whole family. Among 37 Maryland designers presenting 39 themed dining tables for the 19th annual Great Chefs' Dinner on April 26, 2010, to benefit The Family Tree, Gala Cloths' table design took the "Most Artistic" category award of the event. Gala Cloths' design was inspired by the New York Botanical Gardens, interpreting this year's event theme, "A New York State of Mind." Alexandra Guarnaschelli, Executive Chef of Butter Restaurant in New York and Food Network personality, presided over the event, which raised more than $580,000 for The Family Tree. Dulany Noble, owner of Gala Cloths, mobilized fellow hospitality industry professionals to pull together her tabletop design, all members of the Baltimore Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE): Loren Lippman, Party Rentals, Ltd., who supplied chargers and chairs. Ellene Pomerantz, Write Style Design Studio, who created scrolled menu cards, place cards, and tags for the miniature potted orchid favor at each guest place setting. Stanton Wingrat, Flowers & Fancies, who contributed displays of exotic blooms including orchids for the centerpiece and place setting favors.
